I've died twice. Both this world so far. One by a surprise boar attack and the other me and my friend were hunting a giant herd of rams.It was taking forever because our MM was around 15, so he convinced me to try to run to the water and get in a boat. Well as soon as I left our little barricade next to a rock all the rams started chasing me and took me down before I could make it to the shore.

I hated my friend for a while after that.

Here's a hint if you're using default client: Use the panoramic setting. You can scan around with your mouse and spot animals before you get close.

And if it does it will be for something incredibly stupid, I'm sure. Like leaving the back gate open when shooting at a bear.

Either way, I know people who have died 4 or 5 times in the space of 2 days. I don't even know how that's possible.

Well keep in mind that death from the enviroment are not far more common: animals, mining, and trolls. W3 swimming has nothing on them.

Well..after some time of game, you understand that the wild is dangerous. When you survive the wild, you'll die from a murderer. So, just have your time.

The whole game is exciting mostly because of dying, why not just enjoy it as it comes?
