You've also gained the knowledge to avoid single guys in metal armor.

Get some walls up, build away from the river, use what you learnt in the massacre to prevent it happening again.

IIRC unspent LP are not returned at all. You are just refunded 25% of the costs of the one time buy skills.

Should you suspect to be killed dump all your LP into a personal claim, that way you can get them back after death.

After you grind up enough LP to get Valor and Ranging and enough combat skill to get them back. :\

The problem is your forced to go offensive in this game because defense sucks so hard.

Oh and the 30,000 LP needed to get rage. Can't forget that.

Remembering to make a wooden Pallisade, the only low level wall that does anything, you need 50 bones for the wood glue.

I am not even sure what you are trying to tell me, but ok. Could you please stick to making one post with several quotes next time?

I'm trying to say that if you get murdered on a claim you have to come back and grind up somewhere near 100,000 LP before you can go get revenge on the person who killed you. You need ranging to track the scent but for that you need Valor, to get any sort of revenge on him that won't provoke them to come back and stab you in the eyes you'd have to murder him and that would cost 30,000LP for Rage, and the theivery skill to take all his armour and stuff and vandalism to set him back further. Otherwise he'll go back to your place and wreck everything.

You only need twenty. 50 strings, though.

As for the person who acted as if 30k lp is bad, I got 40k lp just building my palisade on full change-peaceful.

The guy who killed you spend 100k LP on murder alone. Stop whining, nothing good in the world comes free and you can't expect to fight well if your main focus and highest skill is farming or carpentry, it wouldn't even be fair towards griefers. The first thing I did after I saw people stealing my hides is place a claim. After browsing the forums I immediately started building a palisade, claimed it whole and atm I feel kinda safe... That + throw all spare LP into UC + rage+armor should mean at least something if some griefer comes to my place.

Still takes alot of work to get there and leaves you almost totally defenceless.

Lolwut? Walls make you virtually invincible, as long as you don't go outside with keys.
