I think there's quite a lot of people lurking in the forums, not playing, waiting for the map reset. Interesting to hear that there's not so many people visible these days, I was under the impression that the world was overcrowded

I don't think I've played for nearly two months now, although I check the forum every day. Until the reset occurs, I just don't have any motivation to put in effort.

I don't want to put effort into something that is absolutely going to be wiped away in a week or two when I could wait and put in effort later and have it last for longer?

My reasons for not playing are more around selling my laptop and getting a desktop + work laptop. I've been playing lots of high spec games on the new desktop that I couldn't previously play (getting bored of em quick as I expected though).

I just got the laptop today (13" Dell Studio XPS, it's awesome sauce) and put ubuntu on it, so I'll probably play more now as I'll be trying to modify/replace the interface

well i'm not saying anyone should be like building the taj mahal or anything but you might as well gain some LP and stats. also, it's a fun game to play for enjoyment v v

Yeah, even with the reset (and probable item wipe) coming, I enjoy playing from time to time, to get LP and even making steel and silk (yes, I know that's stupid with the item wipe, but I like shiny stuff )
