LOL...I agree, I think because of the actions one does with your hearthling it creates a sort of "real life" link. Sometimes as I go about my business I almost forgot which of us is "real"..me or my hearthling. I know when a Bear killed me 3 days into this world I was quite ill and rattled. I came very close to actually checking my ass for claw marks as I stared at the "character creation" screen.
