Sounds good, as long as it's a "for flavor" thing. In other words, he shoud do secondary tasks, nothing major (no stuff like steel refueling).

Depends on how common the occurrence is, how easy it is to remove, and how deadly it is. There is very little to stop a griever to start allot of characters and kill them at water just to grieve the locals.

Good spot. One of my favorite games (and series) of all times. Played it a thousand times. :)

About the second, again, sounds good as long as it's a cosmetic thing.
No unique quests with unique rewards for those lucky enough to stumble upon the spirit. Unique content based on luck stinks.

Yeah, same here. The feeling is uniquely horrible. I've played it to death, but it keeps being repayable! A very good game, and I'm glad that you want to throw a spanner it's way.
