I'm not sure there's much to add beside what has already been said in other threads. The development on Salem right now means that we've had little time to work on Haven the last months, and that's mostly the way it'll have to be until we've managed to release Salem. Right now at the moment things are a bit extra bad, because Jorb is in the process of moving, one of the consequences of which is that our main development environment for Haven in inaccessible as well.
It's really quite frustrating, because I would like to work a lot more on Haven than I do now; but I don't really see what the alternative is, to be honest. Seeing how we're getting paid to work on Salem, we have to get it done. I really do long for the day when I can focus more on Haven again, though.
Don't get me totally wrong, though; Salem is also an awesome game, I'm enjoying working on it a lot, too, and I can't wait for the day that allows more public testing of it. Testing and release planning and such things are more up to Paradox than to Jorb and me, however, so I can't really comment much on it (if it were only up to me, I'd have you all playing it already, incomplete though it may be). It's worth mentioning, if I haven't done so already, that Paradox decided to replace Jorb's art with art from some professional studio, and that's making the whole development process quite a bit more complex. As a consequence, they don't want us to show any more footage of the game until such time as the graphics have been properly replaced. It seems to be one of those things I have to deal with when dealing with corporations.
