leeches don't help you if your hungry, make sure your hunger bar is in the green. use low q leeches at first, then work your way up. I use 3 q 35 leeches, they do enough SHp to screw you royally if you dont have enough SHp to support them.

Hold on about leech q guys, new player only has access to q10 leeches. I doubt 1 of them would kill him (heck, it takes 5 to take out 50shp for me), but god... it'd be a slow process. Using 4-6 I'm lucking to heal 5 points of hhp.

you can use leeches as long as you have at least 4 HHP left. just pull them off when you get low on SHP. it really is just that simple. yeah, it takes forever, but there is essentially no real point where you NEED gauze.
