I'm sort of in the ass end of everywhere, only one other major village close to me and 90% of the rivers near me lead to dead ends. But I've still seen a lot of skeletons. I also had 3 people die around me while I was afk working on the palisade. I came back to my keyboard and there were 3 skeletons all with blood around where I was standing, but no one in my village is missing and no one knows what happened. It probably depends on where you've had the good or bad luck of spawning.

Might be due to the fact that the LP system has changed so much that you can no longer macro to get it. So everyone is outside trying to find flotsams or other forageables and less people = more curios. Add to this the fact that fish are rare now which means that if someone sees you with a rod they'll kill you just to see if you have any fish.

tl dr people no longer macro from behind their walls and LP intake is based on how many people live close by.

New worlds are always violent, because no bigger powers have been establish that could control and frighten off low level criminals. Once cities have been established, exchanged crossroads and built up their ranger squads, criminals are either hunted down quickly or are smart enough not to even try killing or stealing from innocent hermits and small communities.

Or smart enough to evade cities and these ranger groups. Surely the Law Speaker of W4's Winter Fell can testify to this - "GingerDevil of Narnia"

:D

This is the first world I haven't been murdered in so far, it's a lot less violent for me.

Dragon age II is awesome, the only problem is that all the dungeons/caves/abandoned mansions are the same.
