You don't have to click and drag. Open equipment and inventory and then just shift+click the item to equip. Same goes for your study inventory, too, with the character sheet open.

Well, i've logged on, just finished with my 7th leech, still not a single hhp, i'll keep you updated.

edit: 8th leech, and my first bit of tasty hhp, 9/9/123 now. Things are looking up!
