My garden has various things I don't bother picking. mostly rhubarb and weeds. also 3 hops plants, except the soil out there is too acidic. I get the vines to grow, and grow well, but I never get any cones. So I stopped trying. corn plants grow horizontally instead of vertically. and by that I mean they just hug the ground in multiple stalks that spread out from the base which I find incredibly odd... Ive also got garlic I never planted, onions I also never planted, sour ass grapes, stunted pumpkins, huge unripened tomatoes, and the best raspberries Ive ever tasted. I mean, fuck, I limed the shit out of the garden, I tilled in fertilizer (animal shit), and the plants are still getting hit bad by the acidic nature of the soil! and this all after my first attempt. I could grow anything I wanted at my old place, but goddamn... anybody got any recommendations for plants that WILL grow where I live? I live in a spruce forest area. (which is why the soil is so acidic.) Trees that try to grow in the area that are not spruce trees get nice and tall! then they die, rot, and become a hazard as they collapse on buildings, people, and animals. I once found a deer crushed under a dead maple tree about 2 feet in diameter in the middle of the field behind the house, took forever to remove that shit.

hehe, id like to see someone make glass in a kiln now.

also we should get potatoes in hnh.

then make a potato man as a curio

seriously though, dig some sand, make a clay kiln then make glass, if you do and have proper video effort i will donate $200 AUS

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Glass#Glass_ingredients

althoug you use the kiln to make calsium oxcide, which you use in glass

my relatives place in the mountain got too many boars, eating all the delicious bamboo shoots :(
but, nobody dare to sling them to death or try to tame to turn them into pigs. what a shame.
if anyone is interested in trying that, ill give you the coordinates!
sadly, i cant offer you any village teleports nor xr signs, so you must walk/swim/sail all the way to japan, heh.
