I suspect that you were posting the propaganda ironically. In which case, Jackard makes a good point. You're just echoing nonsense. (plus, mexican food is tasty and inexpensive)

On the off-chance that you weren't posting the propaganda ironically, you should know that the Soviet Union did more to undermine the core values of May 1st than anyone else. The Chicago Haymarket Riot, which May Day commemorates, proved that people of all economic classes must have the right of free association in a democratic society. The Soviets suppressed this right throughout their reign at least as much as the Chicago police did in 1886.
