Apparently the perpetrator is dead. Hooray justice, I guess.

It's not possible to fake your own death, is it? I know I wouldn't stand a chance against somebody that could knock down a palisade, or know of anyone who could kill somebody like that.

I can confirm his dead. I was on your claim too, to grab some scents and accidently left two reeks. So if you find these scents: They are mine, don't worry about them.

Who was it? Did he drown or something? Also, why was my claim so popular all of a sudden?

I'm pretty sure I know why, but I had to ask.

It was one of our village members, warri. Since he wanted to leave the game in a few days, he decided to grief the people arround Brodgar. He found scents of yours and just tracked you down to your hearth. I guess he wanted to kill you to, but somehow he was unable to summon you.

As we don't want any trouble at the moment, we decided to kill him preemptively, so I grabbed your scents from that claim, tracked your claim, grabbed warri's scents and found out that he's dead.

Warri drowned himself.

Sounds like a real stand-up guy. I did find a theft scent that didn't belong to a dead man and followed it north of the ring and across a river.

But whatever. Twigs are free, I'll get another dreamcatcher eventually, and just hope no other serial killers find the means to break down my wall.

I guess this was one of my scents. But don't bother to find my hearth, as it is hours away :).
