World 3. Loved my Iron Mine so much. LP gain of 120+ per half-second from mining was nice, too. :D

Yeah, it was. I often kept boats and valuable containers behind trees and boulders when traveling far at the beginning of w3, and they were never robbed. The problem with boat is that it would reset its direction if nobody been around for some time, so you had to sail in that default direction first, then lift it and place it somewhere people would not likely to walk.

Several times we managed to build rams behind pine trees :)

*sighs*
you've been playing this a half year longer than i have, al ... who is "older and better known on the forums"?
wish i could have experienced the joy of hiding stuff. (i only know the last half of w3)

I miss when my cartography maps were slightly valuable because nobody had invented a good scripted global map system.

I've found my maps are just as valuable as ever since myself and village mates share one between us, which we update by hand to show villages and resource nodes.
On topic: W3, as I was still learning the game, and the updates flowed freely.

World One, world of super heroes and super villains with a playerbase of people who had for the most part not figured out how to powergame the system yet, a tight map with the furthest points being a 20 minute walk apart and more drama than has ever come after.

5 I prefer the curiosity system to the old grind out the lp system. I do miss my farming lp though. :(

Each world had its particular charme (except world 4, it sucked). I guess I would agree with world 1 though. Shows you that tons of new features don't necessarily make a game better.

Some might disagree.

I wouldn't.

On topic: #5, because I wasn't around much world #3.
