Did you ever try playing in a town btw? From what I understood by reading most of your posts you have always been a hermit. Maybe that would add a new experience to HnH for you?

Actually, i've been in a town for a good part of world 3 (I spawned right next to the Codexia guys that time). I joined them in world 4 as well (I lived outdoor, but i couIdn't play a lot due to a thesis i was working on; unfortunately that world finished before i could do the same with the thesis) and i was joined a little village this time as well, with some friendly neighbor. I've been really an hermit just on world 2 and i've been able to accomplish quite a bunch of things. I remember when me and a friend traveled for something like 10 hours (not in the same session, of course) and then found an iron mine; and when boats were implemented, we were able to find a silver and a gold mine as well (and we never claimed it, by the way; it was simply too far from any sign of civilization to be discovered randomly*). Those were quite nice times.
I lived near the RoB, with a measle palisade but with thane's rings and other jewelry. It was just a matter of seeming poor. After all, you can't be robbed of things no one knows you have.

*at least 4/5 hours by boat, starting near the RoB. Actually, someone may have discovered the mine when me and my friend stopped playing. But, well, we didn't need it anymore.

I retract my earlier glib remark.

Hope to see you in Salem.

Nah you're wrong about this one. Haven't you seen all the intelligent people supporting the use and "fairness" of vaults as well as lambasting any suggested fix for such "features?"

Being a criminal isn't advantageous at all you know. It's not like any hypocritical people complain or cry when something happens to them by said vault users.

Depends on the type of surgery. If you're removing a limb, sure, why not. Is it the best method? No. Is it the worst? Probably not.
