Updates indeed, and for me it is missing a basic understanding of the game. Honestly, I dont have the slightest idea whats nice to do to get some LP.
At least in W3 you could cruise around wtfpwning herds with your waytoohighQ-sling and make shittonnes of LP

Ofcourse I made a curio once or twice, but it just feels unfamiliar to me. Then again I've never been one of the topplayers, I like my H&H with a good deal of casual

I definitely like this world compared to the previous ones. While the curio system isn't exactly perfect it is on the right path. I like being able to keep up somewhat with world progress even though I can only play a couple of hours per day. It's nice being able to come home after a long day at work to see 70,000 LP waiting for you.

This is the first world where I have respectable stats, and I am a full time dairy farmer. So yeah, curios rock.

Edit: Might have to do with epic curios like the riverpearl giving 5k/1hour, where I easily farmed +-20k in 10 minutes hunting (one herd aurochsen, a bear or two) and that was at very least.
