Update the map?

i just had ann odd thought. but is it possible to make a world map of the lower levels as well?

If ppl would build mine holes on the corners of the map unless the underground system is larger.

Or a topic could be used to collect a bunch of villages names with locations and send those to Algerith. (Less work for him + Better junk data elimination.)

Considering the time, most people were sleeping.

It would be nice to have a more updated world map though. Right now it gives the impression that the vast majority of the world is unsettled.

Can I submit minimap pictures to the map thread or to algeralith? I do not have cartography, but I can snapshot minimap pictures.

It has been updated recently in my part of the world. I've had a built settlement for... hmm, 2 months in this current location? About a week ago it finally showed up on the world map. I tried working with the uploader about half way through the construction of the settlement and the map never updated so I stopped trying. But someone in the area scoped us out it seems

Issue: Unless all the major villages are marked on the map, not many people want to be one of three villages marked on the map. I think last world only 4 ever made it to the map.

We're much too lazy so no one will show up on the map.
The half updated was probably that trade we did.

If you use Alg's updater once in a blue moon we'll nag him a lot to do the update and he'll manually run the update and check for junk areas.

I've run the updater numerous times and my area still looks like it did 1 month after the world started.
