So, confirmed the devs have abandoned, or just after this game comes out they'll be back?

I realize that the "Join date" is for the first time you sign into the forums, but I'm guessing you haven't been here for more than a week or so. Try doing a bit of your own digging and make your own conclusion.

Just a reality check here, this is a completely free game being hosted at the expense of the guys running it. Why would they keep it up if they weren't going to play with it anymore?

edit: apologies for the double post.
Opinions expressed in this statement are the authors alone and in no way reflect on the game development values of the actual developers.

I wouldn't expect Salem before Q2 2012, the initial release date was ridiculously optimistic.

Pure speculation. World 6 could start tomorrow, or in 2 years. Also, the devs have done several updates, albeit small ones, since theystarted on Salem.

Loftar passed out one drunken night on a cargo ship and is now somewhere in the north Atlantic.
Jorb got a horrible vd the next week.

I think this is the most accurate to character theory yet.

They probably dont log on their forum accounts anymore cause they have 100 PM's begging for revival, 200 qq'ing that someone got CS jumped and 150 asking to fix ranger bows.

Exchanged a quick message with Jorb on FB on the Salem page, he was writing the flavor texts for skills. Theft will be called Larceny and Yeomanry will be Homesteading. that's the extent of what I picked up. :P

I also told him he should put an homage to the movie Let Me In in the game. lol
