You know, back when you could right click someone and chat to see their char name

My first interaction with another player was when I robbed their camp and someone got on in mid-theft. They saw me shearing their sheeps (and messing around with them, also first time seeing domesticated livestock) and seemed rather disturbed. They approached me in their druid helmet and wrought gear and said not a word, as I kept looting.

We became friends, and he let me take everything I had stolen minus a couple things (smithy hammer i think)

World 1. I had made it out of the ruins of Brodgar to a somewhat secluded spot and a little farm was nearby. Looked abandoned so I took stuff from time to time. One day my neighbour logged in when I was just walking away from one of my looting trips. I said "Hi, I am your neighbour ", trying to look innocent. He mumbled something and logged off never to be seen again.

A few days later I joined Xybb, Hermedicus and Andi. They made me their treekeeper, what an honour it was! Back then quality didn't exist, but neither did forests. Trees were as valuable as today, but for a whole different reason. Later we became Wayneville and robbed everyone blind

I got a mail notifying me of a registration. Giddy with excitement I teleported to the Ring of Brodgar where there was a naked man walking about. He logged off when I popped in, never to be seen again.
