can you spawn outside of central grids now?

was using corner as a figure of speech, similar to how one might use boondocks or the boonies

I kinda feel that W5 is smaller than W3. Is that possibly true, or is it the fact i know where i am on the map(I already been to the topmost and the west most[hit bout boundries])

It's considerably smaller than W3. iirc W3 was 9x9 as opposed to W5's 5x5 grid.

Kewl, i thougth i was losin my mind for a moment. Which also explains why it was so Damnable hard to find a place untouched by peeps. When i first started out, i couldnt get too far on the river without seeing some kind of player involvement. Spent most of my first days lookin for curios and making stuff to get the much needed Yeomany. after that, i finally found a nice lil "quiet" place. till i was able to Really explore the area, seems like 6 others and a village had the same thoughts as I on how to find seclusion.

short list of me perils so far:

1st boat taken by dude with sword and bear caps :( (But he didn't kill me and dropped off my crates from said boat :) )

2nd boat was left behind, when i hit my travel to hearth fire button, Without first lifting my boat :( that boat had a crate and a cheast in it, full of all the kind of plants needed to be a successful farmer/cook (man that pissed me off for a bit)

3rd boat. took me forever tryin to find a place, since now after all hardships i was Able to successfully buy yeomany, but i was able only to recover half of seeds while foraging off deserted/non claimed areas

/hyjack off

Not seeing anyone when you first start this game is IMO a blessing. When you figure the game out, then you will be in a position to CAUTIOUSLY meet people. Friends are very nice to have, but some people enjoy killing for lulzs so you should always be aware.
