w3. a bottleneck ranger not killed that time, but a few months later, same person killed me out of boredom using scents left on a dead claim.

I've never been attacked really when I was a newb. Back in W3 I only got attacked by boars, so me and my friends built up a palisade on the second day. Eventually my friends left to a tin mine, but I stuck around. I went on a stealing spree one day but I left the door open. (My HF was in the open anyway.)

A month or two later I accidently pressed destroy on a HF, (Back then you could destroy HFs without vandalism, as I only had tresspassing) and some guy from the forum that showed me this game killed me with those scents for LP.

Rest of W3 I lived in the glory of mineville, where I eventually stole (or at least stole tin and made bronze and a sword I think, not sure.) a sword and slayed boars and foxes, and eventually went to sodom where I sold low q wrought iron and linen very overpriced.

W4 I got owned by an enraged bear, no other deathes though.

W5 I got force summoned twice in one day at odditown.

Only time I've been attacked by another person, was when I tried to help out brisbane when it was being raided. I eventually scared away the two guys, after they killed a good number of people.

My first hostile experience was I was walking through someone's alt's claim and someone with armor that I can't remember, boar tusk helmet, and soldier's sword ( I think) come off a boat and he running straight at me. From his armor I thought he was strong so I ran having him everyone once in awhile from lag get a hit in that didn't do much to my defense points . Then I reached my house thinking I'll be safe looking through my list of people I kinned to see if I can warn them if they're online, then the guy busts into the house attacking me, I use dash on him trying to get the IP needed for flex then he calls me bad ***ed for fighting back and continues to fight me until I yelled at him to stop. He stops, we both quit the battle, he walks up to one of my cupboards tells me he noticed I was stolen from he walks out, I check the cupboards then walk out with him to see what he was going to do. Then he kins me, says he's going to hunt down the person, and that he'll inform me of what happens to the person.

I haven't had one yet, but the first one I witnessed was someone in a necro cloak with a dragon helm ran into our storage and knocked the leader out and took all of his clothes off. He thought we were bandits and after we explained we weren't she stopped. Since then, she helps the village every now and then.

For me, it was some girl in a necro cloak, and a straw hat. She slinged me twice, but did not aim, so she would miss. We talked for a bit, and she was helping out some other fellow find who broke the ram he was building. For a moment, they thought it was me, but I did not do it. I wanted to break in there as much as he did, so it would be counter-intuitive for me to do so.

now thats a story id like to hear, how did you escape? or did you?

My first encounter with hostiles was when I made my first boat. I was zooming around exploring and foraging the shores. I came to an area close to Peace and saw my chat log start filling up. In area chat I saw someone talking about being North of Peace when they saw me. There were two of them in two separate boats. One shouted noob and I tried to flee. I was only a few days old and had no shortcuts set or anything. There was a short boat chase and they trapped my boat with theirs. Then as I'm frantically trying to warp and anything else I could think of, they attacked my boat. I think they aggroed me because I couldn't warp. My boat disappeared and me and my two crates full of worthless foragibles fell into the water. I drowned. I was shaken badly, but I read the wiki quickly on how to inherit my character. I did so and this time decided to start at RoK (knowing nothing at the time). Big, big mistake. I appeared in RoK and saw someone working. I said ello. Nothing. Was getting reading to take my first step when, BAM! Killed by someone. Never went back there. And before that I thought getting killed by a bear was thrilling...lol.

1) There are at least 5 other stories as long as mine. Why wasting time picking on me?
2) I did remove one of my two images in signature, but not because of you. I wanted to remove one but wasn't sure which and just hadn't gotten around to it. But it's done now... make you happy?
