Hey! Look! It's a Mod trying to attack me on the forums.....THAT never happens. As per usual, said mod has made a fool of himself. I'll just let Ghostless say what evil Ole Painhertz did to him and his buddies.....

Pain doesn't need a background check at all, he's the nicest guy i've met in haven and hearth, I posted here asking for help with the issue of what i'll call " in game bullying " and Pain was extremely fast with his response, showing up at my camp very quickly. Instead of a scenario like: " I'll track this person and sort this out " and that being the last I ever saw of Pain. He instead decided that he would help us out to an extent that was beyond anything i would have imagined.

He sorted us out with an entire village of our own, given us exquisite equipment, ensured we have a VAST food range with the tools and methods to keep producing the foods we need, fantastic homes to live in, walls to keep us safe, mass storage for all our goods and has ensured that if we find ourselves short of anything that we need only ask and he will help in any way that he can.

I think I speak for all of us when I say that Pain alone has renewed our faith in haven and hearth with his kind actions because before him this seemed like a fun game that was ruined by people bullying the lesser skilled characters and just generally making it impossible for them to play.

So slandering him in any way at all is only going to earn disrespect from me as i've said it before and i'll say it again. Pain is the nicest guy i've met in haven and hearth and so far. I've met a lot of characters in game Pain making an absolute mockery of them all in comparison =)

I'm just giving advice to new players. Just because in this particular case you may have helped someone doesn't make my advice any less valuable.

Just really odd to me that that's either the second or third time that you've given this same advice. I don't recall doing anything to you?

Well, you steal and raid people without provocation, so I warn those you offer to "help". Most people don't enter this game with the necessary level of paranoia, in my opinion.

Indeed. I do, BUT I have and would never use the forums as a way to lure victims. I even tell the people "when" I offer help that I'm one of the bigger thieves and raiders in the game.

Heh. Ok then, good for you.

Some people may wish to contest who is the biggest raider, though.

Seems like with Pain we all had the exact level of paranoia needed really =)

I'll second that. He did tell me that, but i trusted him regardless because he says things as they are. No silly threats, none of this " I'm gonna get my alt ". just a plain and simple quote: "yes I am one of the bigger thieves but I wont do anything to you guys because I'm helping you"
