I mean at the pubs. :)
One of the guys we met up with there said the same as you, but you guys don't know what expensive is. :P
A beer at a pub here in Sweden is about £3.5-4, whereas in London we only paid £1.2-2.5, or something like that.

Edit: Not to mention that the beer is a lot better in England and that you have much larger assortments at your pubs. :)

oh you went to some cheap pubs! normally a pint is about £3.00 - £3.80
O_O

the selection of beer is epic i have to agree. nothing like San Miguel on tap. and which guiness is it you like. Draught or Original?

Yeah, we stayed at King's Cross and went to some pub there called Lucas Arms and then to another place near where the gig was, at the Relentless Garage, called Wetherspoon, which I think is a chain.
But still, the guy we met said *that* was expensive... -.-

I have to say I didn't really pay attention as I was chugging them down, but I'd guess Draught. Not sure, though.

Our trip had perfect timing. When we arrived at the hotel we switched on the TV and saw a commercial for Guinness and it's 250 year celebration on the 24th, which said that at 17:59 everyone should be holding a pint in their hands, which, of course, we did. :)
I'm coming back sometime, that's for sure.
