Btw the server ran more or less lag free with those 1000 players. The lags are not related to the curren tnumberof people online. At least I am fairly sure of that.

I made contact with 3 newbies the last 2 weeks, two were 14 year old na players who stopped after 3 days ( what a loss XD ) and the other one is really nice and mature guy from slovakia, currently building his palisade. So overall I would say: more players=a good thing.

More players are always welcome. It's nice when they contribute to the game in some meaningful way, whatever that means. The only real issue that we run into is that, yes, over time with yeomanry so cheap and easy to get you have thousands of useless, inactive personal claims hording the entire map and the only way to get rid of them is with a village claim.

It'd be rather pleasant if there was a bit more breathing room, I suspect. It doesn't need to be a massive amount, just a bit for colonizing.

I was complaining about personal claims even before world 3 ended. Stupid pink forcefields over grassy ruins. :(

But village authority seems really easy to maintain in world 5, so atleast it should be a little easier to declaim via a village.

Didn't the server take a lot of damage when the RUA crashed it? Correct me if I am wrong but it ran more smoothly before that.
Certainly, in taking revenge, a man is but even with his enemy; but in passing it over, he is superior; for it is a prince’s part to pardon. - A wise friend.

Yep (more smoothly ...)
But don't forget Loftar also implemented some additional stuff after that ... like a, or some, backup actions.
