Everything being wiped isn't a problem. But broken sections of the world, a broken siege mechanic and no new updates make the game world less fun for goal oriented players and more fun for griefer and murderous hearthlings.

Just one more reason to wait for W6 I say. On a somewhat-related note, someone got into my secret underground lair despite the fact that I am surrounded by 3 layers of walls and I haven't found any scents or signs of bug abuse.

Imagine my shock and surprise to hear the *click* of my door while I'm tending the kilns nearby. Nothing has been taken, and like I said earlier, no scents. It's weird because there should be trespassing scents but I can't find any.

I don't have the iron for a brick wall. :( I have a palisade outside the cave entrance, a palisade inside the cave entrance, and the third palisade surrounding my entire working/living area. I have fully explored the cave system I live in and there's no other entrance (that I can find) and I haven't found any tunnels that could have been mined by someone.

That's one possibility. But that would mean they'd have gone to the trouble to repair the wall they got through, but like I mentioned before, nothing was stolen. I keep my items very organized and I can tell if I lose an item or something is missing. Maybe I'm just hearing things. None of it makes any sense.

That applies to nubs who don't know how to play. If he's an 'old player' then he probably knows well enough to wait.

What are you talking about. Even 'old players' are now always good, polish your skills and train imo. You can always get better.

train what? not really understanding what you would need to train.

train on how to protect yourself from exploiters (that's ironic I believe) or how to die to the army of alt characters with no hearthfire

what do you mean exactly please

Well that's an odd reason. Considering every world eventually gets wiped. That's like saying "Meh, don't join a new world. After all, everything you do will be wiped." However, I do appreciate your reply. I'm contemplating with either just waiting it out, or playing with a friend to learn the new system. Not sure what to do yet.
