You do know that they are getting close to 1 million people and last I heard they raised $300,000. That doesn't seem like zero progress to me.

Raised $300,000 for what? It's supposed to be a protest not a fucking charity.

I'll be honest I haven't been following it at all really but I bet those "1 million people" are mostly comprised of young adults under the age of 20 who haven't even lived their easy middle-class lives long enough to be complaining about anything. I also fall in to that category but then again I'm not out there protesting either.

“I had my Mac stolen -- that was like $5,500. Every night, something else is gone. Last night, our entire [kitchen] budget for the day was stolen, so the first thing I had to do was . . . get the message out to our supporters that we needed food!”

What boshaw said, they provide food and water at the rallies.

Ok so all I gained from this so far is that some people who now just realized the world is a shitty place decided to protest corporate greed or some shit.

Then they also have to feed all the protesters who I guess must be standing around for what must be days if they are being fed instead of out maybe working and making money or something.

So to feed these people they are raising money to buy the food and also to replace the stolen food and to replace the stolen items because some people decided to bring expensive things with them and are careless enough to leave those expensive things out of their sight long enough for someone to take them.

Hmmmmmmmmm but at least they are gaining supporters and not people just trying to take advantage of the whole process and make a quick buck just like the companies they are protesting.

Sorry but I just don't see the progress you speak of.

TL;DR do some research..

Edit: Im guessing the people who have been there for hours get a little hungry and thirsty especially if it's hot. Also I think that they put some of that money into shirts or banners.

Why should I do research? As a seemingly avid follower of the Occupy Wall Street movement shouldn't you be able to enlighten me on the matter? If they make 300 grand a month what are they going to do with it? Are all the protesters as dumb as the one that got his mac stolen? Is there really a definitive goal to this whole thing or are people just joining in because they want more money?
