Well yeah, being able to fight with uneven stats is important, but theres only so much you can learn running around trees and sign posts trying to get in cheap punches. If you actually want to learn how most of the moves work and when they are useful you gotta be able to practice with someone who wont break your bar in one hit.

So to learn the current best method for fighting you must not practice doing it. Teach me more wise master.

He isn't claiming to be an expert. He fared nicely vs some of the griefers in the game a short while ago and decided to host this because of it. Regardless of his skills I can respect it.

I'm pretty sure he means that he isn't an expert on combat.

Edit; ya, what jordan said

Love it.

Phil and I were having an 'intellectual' conversation about something like this, earlier today.

Of course, there will be unevened fighters, I'm not expecting every to bring massively fed characters, but attribtues and stats will probably vary a little bit. I would however suggest everyone who decides to come, bring an alt character, with the Hearthlands in it's current state, you can never play it too safe. I can just warp you to the village/arena and you'll be good to go.

I may possibly start providing curis for those who wish to join in on a regular basis, should it get to that stage :) Lets see how it goes for nowbut we have a few people interested now, cmon people join in, it'll be fun :D
I had a retardedly huge signature and have gotten this embarrassing replacement to show for it.

I'm totally in for this, so are you gonna pm us a hearth secret we can contact you at? If this does get going, I'd be happy to come, supply some curios for people and even bring in some slings, bows, leather armor, bronze armor, shields and some swords for those who want to participate but don't have the resources for weaponry or to be able to replace thier armor that gets destroyed. Can even bring a dozen or so bear talis for the noob pvp'ers. Hum, with that much combat I'll also bring a ton os sausage. So I also propose in-arena competitions with prizes for top ranking people, give a bit of incentive and all that. In that case I can bring some of my better q items to put up for the lower tier prizes. My only concern is this many combat characters in a small space, then again if we keep it nice no griefers would last very long.
