The purpose of the curiosity system was to eliminate the LP botting that was taking place, and in this aspect I think it was completely successful. Sure you CAN bot to cycle through the curiosities you gathered but I am really doubting that too many people do this. Just log on every few hours and put something else on, which is what I believe most people do anyways.
Don't even need a bot to FEP grind, just plow and drink. You still have to cook all your shit.
Farm bots are just eliminating the tedium of farming and I have no problems with that.
The only Mine bot I can think of that you might be referring to is one which mines in the snake pattern for miles and miles to make looking for ore nodes easier. This one kind of sucks to be around I guess but maybe when someone is using it and it fucks up causing them to lose their miner (or mining alt) they may just decide to do it manually.
