In world 5, I left runestones all over the place welcoming newb neighbors to the newborhood (this was before I realized the potential peskiness of certain neighbors). Some of them returned runestones outside my walls and we began to chat, regularly. For the particular ones I trusted, I dropped by when they were online and available, and gave each person a pick, saw, metal saw, shovel, one bar of each basic metal, and taught many of them how to mine/prospect and basic combat. The neighbors that didn't respond to me were evicted, and killed.

Crime watch, zone. Everyone in the area knew each other. It was quite pleasant.

I build noob lean-tos for them to destroy and hang rabbit furs for them to steal. Also, I let them chase me through the forest to try to kill me. Kind of a public service.

I started a noob help thread that is still going strong today, I also posted a thread last world for anyone in need of general help getting their village started. I would spawn a new alt and help haul lumber or whatever.

My first and last good deed in this game was bringing Nao grape seeds to learn him make wine. It was not my fault he was so noob, he did not udnerstand and took my gate-key and pants with it (from my dced char of c(o)urse )

And a good thing Nao did for all of us was killing an idiot who's dumb enough to keep his keys on him, and wear pants around Nao.

Well not anyone is uber-god to come to a game and knows everything from 1st day. It was W3 and my first char. At least I ve learned to be not nice w/ anyone in this creepy world :>
