Well Warsteiner I would consider piss. Becks is ok I guess. St. Pauli-Girl I never heard of, but sounds interesting. St.Pauli is the red-light district of Hamburg and pretty famous worldwide I guess. But usually the beer connected to St.Pauli is Astra. The others I cannot say much about (Pilsner Urquell I covered in my previous post and it is great).

I'll add my favorites; St. Bernardis, and Shamai. I'm a big fan of Belgian beer =P.

yeah warsteiner sucks, becks is barely tolerable.

St. Pauli Girl beers are brewed and bottled by the St. Pauli Brauerei, which is located within the Beck's brewery in Bremen, Germany.
The brand derives its name from the fact that the original brewery, established 1857 by Lüder Rutenberg, was located next to the former St Paul's Monastery in Bremen. There are currently three brands of beer brewed: St. Pauli Girl Lager, St. Pauli Girl Special Dark and St. Pauli Non-Alcoholic Malt Beverage. The beer is only produced for export and is not sold in Germany.

Karlovačko is a fine beer, it's got quality and most importantly, 60 european cents per half a gallon.

And yet, we rarely buy it and just get wasted on the local lager beer.

It's mediocre quality, but I love the bitterness this beer has.

Currently holding a personal record of 2,6 gallons consumed in 3 hours without throwing up or being unable to walk a straight line.

Time to brag about your alcohol toleration now gentlemen.

Guys, seriously. I honestly like some german beers a lot. They are good.
But if you never heard about Pilsner Urquell you know nothing about the meaning of word BEER.

Since 1842 there is only one best BEER - Pilsner Urquell from Czech Republic.

I have mentioned that to be the best beer ;)

Swarm your beer is in a plastic bottle. Never would I even touch a beer served in anything else but a glass bottle.

My friends and I are getting into brewing. Currently have stage 2 Caribouslobber fermenting in a closet. Tastes delicious already.

Also, a good Abbey Ale is something to look into. Had my first not too long ago, but it was the best beer I've ever had.

Zatac Pilsner is the best beer.

Weihenstephaner Hefeweissber is the second best beer.

Black Toad is the third best beer.

I have spoken.

we probably have most of the imported beer ...well, at least in Tokyo. but beer traveling long...meh :geek:
those living in europe probably have this luxury of enjoying their real good taste there.
our major breweries craft some "licenced" brands like heineken, lowenbrau, stella artois, bass, leffe, kilkenny, heineken, guiness, carlsberg, and budweiser (and maybe more), though i hardly drink those unless someone buys me one.

i really dont care what beer i drink since im not a big beer fan, but when i have a choice itll be either

or

as for craft beer, here are the links(english).
http://beerinjapan.com/bij/
http://japanbeertimes.com/
too many of those here, i only know of the very few local ones nearby. they are nice, but a bit costly.
i get more picky when it comes to sake though ;)
