I'm aware that it's early... Never once did I say anything along the lines of "Okay gang let's all set our watches and meet up on the Salem website".
Saying things like that just seems like a nice way to get up your post count, in my opinion. I'm simply interested in knowing who was still interested in the game despite the less than thrilling leaks that we've seen so far.

yeah you caught me I was just trying to raise my post count instead of acknowledging the fact that in about 6 months to a year no one will remember this thread except maybe for you.

My plans are foiled.

They are just trying to troll you man.

Your idea is an interesting one. I think there are too many trolls in this community for it to be viable. This thread is supporting evidence.

Kaios brings a viable point to the table; even on a generous release schedule, following what the devs have laid out already, you will not be seeing Salem for at least 7 more months. Besides being a pipe dream, what sort of cohesion can you attempt to bring together with individuals after such an extended period of time and after minimal contact and discussion.

I think people are far too quick to assume dissenting opinions on the internet are trolling attempts versus being legitimate concerns presented in a manner you don't enjoy. While the idea is likely non-viable it has little to do with trolls and is more a matter of human nature and reality.

I probably should have used different words then, the thread came across as an "Everyone jump on board now" type thing. I really just wanted to see who still had any interest in the game whatsoever and was trying to find out who was willing to stick it out until release with me

IMO From this community salem will most likely just be gaining a bunch of broomstick drive-by mobsters, while all the people who like to see their own creations flourish and grow would more than likely stick around haven.. maybe its just me, but salem does not seem the kind of game for major villages and the likes that you can achieve with haven, mainly just from the graphics and the view points I would prefer not to have a "pandemonium" city (as in the size and structure, not the people or play) in salem...Though of course thats probably an opinion shared only by me :) :foreveralonethoughts: :P
