It'll get scrapped before official launch.

It cant be far.. january 2 they were updatin' alpha server and few hours ago uploaded picture sayin: "Showing the game at the Paradox Convention".. so I believe it is pretty much done..

Like someone previously stated... the beta will start soon. Within a month or so, as long as they don't run into any big issues. If all goes well with beta, the expected release is Q3 2012. There are many ways to find out info on the game. Theres forums here. Theres forums at Paradox. Theres a FaceBook page (don't be fooled by the fakes, the real one has the devs posting themselves).

Nobody has said officially when beta is starting. A couple of the mods here have put their thoughts in on when to expect it.
Opinions expressed in this statement are the authors alone and in no way reflect on the game development values of the actual developers.
