I'm not sure what sites have recently had new interviews/previews of Salem but the mouth breathers who have tracked the scent of Salem here have dropped the cumulative I.Q. of this forum by 30 points "easily". It's like there's an entire website devoted to inbred, retard gamers and Jorb gave them in interview and their entire readership has invaded the forum here. I'm not saying this to just be mean, I'm being dead serious.

there is a big influx of noobs. but they are bringing thier expectations from other games. Because of this flaw, they are looking rather. . .

imagine your entire gaming life spent on WoW, EQ2, EVE and whatnot. and then come here and begin to play. Mondo Culture Shock.



I do not think our new players are a bunch of hillbilies, it's just they are seeing the "bloodied Battlefield" of what we call H&H for the first time. Seeing thier buddies being ripped apart from all the Ass-Hats(via Haxx and exploits) and from Server Woes.

So... this game is supposed to simulate life during the Iron Age in the northern European area. Well, one of the primary aspects of life during this time was the overwhelming amount of ways you could fall ill and possibly die. Remember, almost no sickness was treat-able back then.

Life's not fair, and sometimes when you're in the middle of doing your business your number gets called and you die. Plain and simple. Just because you can find a technical issue in the game to explain it does not reduce the verdict in any way, your avatar is dead and you'll have to make a new one.

Why do you make such a big deal about loosing a single character? Roll an other one, hearth to you friends, build and ram the door, make a new door, that's really not that of a big deal. Next time make spare keys asap or use one of those port feature made exactly for this kind of reason. If you are so upset about lag, then never try swimming

Right here is a good example of natural selection. Those to stupid or inexperienced to live will die. But luckily you get to remake a character and browse forums for information. Many people have died many times, whether its from bugs or game mechanics. I would even bet as much if this had not happened to you probably in a few weeks time you would get ganked and someone would take the key off of your body, raid your village, kill everyone and laugh at you. Be thankful you lost it in a river and not to another player. Next time use a damn key alt like everyone else, only log it in when you NEED to open the gate and keep its info to yourself.
