Today I was visited by a guy wearing noob clothes and a straw hat. I was standing inside my palisade waiting for someone to come down with a boat that was using my settlement as a rest stop before heading down to a new settlement they were building. The guy walks up and stands outside until I say a hesitant hello. He answers with 'let me in.' I flat out tell him no and he starts in with the usual 'but I can help you' stuff. When that didn't work, he began threatening me, going on about all the other friends he had and that he was going to kill us all (I was the only one present at the time).
He continued with the threats, repeatedly starting to storm off and then returning to 'give me one last chance to let him in'. Nope. As he finally begins to walk off with a wardrobe that had been abandoned outside our palisade, I call after him 'thanks for the screenshots.' He pauses on the edge of my screen, sets down the wardrobe, and walks back to the palisade to ask me what I meant. I repeat that I was taking screenshots of the entire conversation.
He proceeded to dissolve into a puppy, going on about how he was just joking and asking me what I meant by 'forums' and such, at one point saying, and I quote 'I am insterded in the fourums', after claiming he had been playing H&H for three years. I finally tell him to flat out leave and he begins to, standing a few yards off until I remind him that I can still see him and shoo him away further.
Half an hour later he messages me again (having kinned me, not sure what he was expecting) telling me he was just angry because someone broke into his settlement and blah blah. As I instruct him not to come near our settlement again, he begins begging me not to kill him.
Considering the last time I encountered someone asking to be let into our settlement and such had been thoroughly unnerving and had caused us to befriend some nearby villages, the exchange this time around had me laughing my ass off.
