When we had global chat, I was lurking around as I do. I noticed a newbie saying he had quit and was giving up all his worldly possessions to anybody who would have them. I approached the noob and spun him a lie about how I was also a newb and had been chased away from my own palisade from Dis, and managed to persuade him to give me his account and the palisaded area instead. I figured I could use the junk leather, bone glue and the other riff raff that you generally find in a newbie camp. When I logged on the account, I was unsurprised, fallowed crops, roasted boar meat and what not. I checked around, gathered up anything of use and stored it by the timber houses ready to smash my hearthfire and teleport back to Odditown. I decided before I'd leave to quickly give the place a once over in case I missed anything. I travelled over the chicken coop and lo and behold there nestled in the back was a the shiniest, most golden egg I had seen in my short hearthling life. From that point forth, I have ALWAYS checked the coops when I raid a place. I managed to steal a second gold egg about a month later into the world albeit from a strongbox and not a coop :).
