I'm just going Marksman, with whatever I have left over going into UA so I don't get caught with my pants down if Chak or whoever's drawing aggro gets knocked out.

Of course, that's just because I'd have to have my bow handy. I really haven't explored the possibilities of close-range combat.

A wrestler will need high strength just to match a low strength person with a high QL bronze sword. (Or soldier's sword if you can manage to have someone camping the crubile for 56 hours)

And if you (somehow) get a high QL B12 axe? Forget it. That thing is doing well over 150 damage per swing at base strength.
Now I know why high QL steel is horrible to make.

Yeah, but you can't use a shield with the axe, so you have to have both melee AND unarmed skill to use it, or you'll get hit every single time.

True. A small price to pay for enormous damage per swing. :P

Not that small a price, as you'll always badly lag behind a single skill specialist. And since combat between players of different skill levels is completely broken, you'll most likely fail to hit the specialist more than once, if even that.

with equal stats unarmed would win. I don't even care about all variables but just the simple fact you attack at twice the speed makes all the difference. :x
Damn it..nerf unarmed please :(
The ones who see things differently.

You can praise them, disagree with them, quote them, disbelieve them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can't do is ignore them.
And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius.

Correction "nerf" unarmed after a certain level.
