I don't understand why everyone rages and bitches so much every time lag is brought up on forums

it's almost as though people like the lag

and the response "why don't you donate" is said often

why would anyone donate money to a game that can't even provide basic services to make it playable

maybe I'd give money if I knew it was actually going towards solution rather than just jorb using it to order a pizza

and I would gladly pay subscription if it meant the game was smooth running

tbh lag is the main reason I haven't started playing again, nothing more frustrating than lag, especially in a permadeath game

I would also pay a subscription, tbh. I've gotten more play hours out of this game than I have in many other highly rated p2p games, it'd be worth it for my play time really.

This is not a professional game, therefore it does not need to meet professional standards. This is just a little project of two friends, and nothing more.

That being said, once the Salem madness passes, the devs will finally have enough time to focus on Haven, a game which they are NOT paid for.

Tbh everyone should donate small amount per month like 1$, which is almost nothing. In addition to that, jorby and lofty should put sheet where everyone could see who donated and at the end they should also put proof where money went (transactions). If we could see that I have no problem paying 1$ over paypal. With 200 people paying 1$ per month we can get 200$ per month server rack and that could be pretty much better than this one I bet. Even if we raise 100$ per month should be enough for better server.

Well they can put on more payment options. Just everyone needs to start donating and even few cents will be good. 50c per account? 1$ per person? It's almost nothing, but if we get it from 100+ people we can get nice sum every month to pay better server. Server with SSD disks would be awesome!
