As soon as I get some decent play time, I'm going to go into major road construction, don't worry.

Could you explain what you mean by this? I don't quite understand your wording.

the yellow part north of us was planned as our own project anyway.
Perhaps it would be a good idea for you to work your way north?

Lare was hoping earlier that no roads lead directly to our settlement ("Pine Valley?"). I'm not sure whether he's changed his mind, but he's a bit paranoid about burglary, and until there are options for shared property, our only good protection is the foxes if we're offline... Although at first I had similar plans, after dragging our cart around for a while, my opinion differs. I'll have to talk to Lare about that. I think that the highway he proposes is a good start though. Everyone would be responsible for the part nearest their own settlement. I will help with the stretch south from the clearing (as Laremere works north) as soon as I get some time.

For ease, I think two wide is adequate. Three will definitely be necessary for major causeways but for a straight stretch with minimal traffic, two is fine.

the mad guy who built the white road is currently working on, so it will get much better. he actually didnt think about carts when he built it. fair enough.

i want to start a Project Brodgar which will go from the white road to the ring of brodgar or somewhere near. will do that as soon as the white road looks a bit better. it was a pain to travel on it so far :)

but props to the mad man anyways, mustve been a lot of work!

There will be no direct road from us to brodgar.
As for the mad roadbuilder. He's not touching our road project.

The road will go by our place, but not directly into it. I first want to connect the road going by to the south road going the the Y forest. Then I want to work the way around to the top of the loop.

And that other road looks fucking ridiculous. I know there's being worked on already but damn, that's a pain to follow. Roads need to be straight and aid you in walking the right direction.

This road road as suggested is supported by us. The village at the sea. But seems like i need to speak to our people about the current road which seems plain weird (the white one).

Considering it was made before carts were expected to be in the game, and made purley for connecting communities of course its not made perfect for carts...
