My very first palisade key when I wanted to dump some garbage into a river while I was in a rather sleepy state of mind. Had to ram the old open gate and build a new one which seemed like a lot of effort back in my noob days. And I was pretty paranoid that someone would take my (in hindsight pretty crappy) possessions until the new gate was finally completed.

i dropped my palisade keys in world 4.....where i was a hermit who had no metals.... because i was clicking on something else during lag time and for someone reason if ended up being the key and i tried to slot it back in my inventory and it dropped in the water.

it was lucky my lovely russian friend who forced me to build the palisade made me a copy of the key or id have been screwed
