Bad idea, and it probably wouldn't do too much for providing new content to read.

I don't think it'd be an issue if it was people actually posting about constructive things and in-game relations/trade. The issue is that very little of anything relevant to the game is happening right now so most posts are terrible. So don't push reviving the forums too much until the game itself has been revived.
