kk, so I got winemaking and used a bucket to add water to the barrel, however, after adding 1 bucket of water to the barrel, it contained only 10 liters of water, as expected. Then thought I'd try fill the barrel in the stream, but that can't be done either - so the only benefit to this is that you would need to carry the barrel to the stream at retard pace and then use a bucket or buckets in any case to fill the barrel, and then carry back at at retard pace - not much of a benefit really...

So, unless I missed something, back to my first...

but then... you did explain that anything that can go into your inventory, will dissapear over time.

well you can fill a cart with barrels, take the cart to the nearest good water, fill the barrels there, and have 400L of water. make a paved road to the water and you can move at run speed with the cart.
