Good luck to all the Russians man, I don't wish this crap on anyone. Are they ruthless ingame? Sure, but aren't they supposed to be? Isn't everyone once they are established?

Hope everything works out for all of you and your internet remains free of tyranny.

Any step towards censorship anywhere in the world is a concerning thought of what that could lead to in the future.

Heh, funny you say that. Usually the first excuse for internet censorship is CP, the one immediately following that is the protection of IP.

in the USA, CP is highly illegal and is a good way to get put in jail quick if they catch you.

IP on the other hand, there have been a few lawsuits, but it's a hard violation to pin down. The most disturbing part is that the industry likes to try and get legislation passed on it instead of doing things within their power to protect it. "Hey big government! Protect our stuff for us because we are too lazy to do it!"

I'm actually surprised someone cares about internet censorship(which wont work for ordinary users), when we have this:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-18336097

this law allows to arrest anyone for just walking outside

Don't you worry fellas, this law is bullshit for politics. Government is going to implement some kind of an automatic filter, supposed to blacklist 'dangerous' sites with cp, instructions to make bombs (lol) and/or drugs.

The funny part is, that russian facebook clone (vk.com) contains the most illegal pron vids on the whole ru-net.
And even if the law will be accepted, there always is a nice proxy server for you.

So, watch your back while wandering around looking for floatsams, evil russian outlaw might always be behind the tree.

Apologies for my poor english skills, proknah.
