You have no idea how sketchy loftar's coding is.

I'm only familiar with the .PAWN variant anyway.
But meh. I'm not very good at it, I just understand how it works.
Looking for help. I'm sort of new to this and I'm trying to get my camp well structured.

Yep and no idea about the difference of having some "scripts" to "dubug" or maintaining a server plus Debian OS with a complicated HW setup plus your own server code in C ... (all this as a hobby) besides making a professional game for a bigger publisher for a living ... ;)

And from my view it's understandable that Loftar doesn't want anyone to fiddle with it as that's the best experience for him...i guess he is in contact with ppl who can give him hints...

@Jessikur

No offense intended - what are you doing for with PAWN ? I remember i had to use it for some automation stuff back in 1998... ;)

My other half introduced me into it.

Anyhow-

I apologize for my ignorance in the game's maintenance.
I'll do my research before I make assumptions.

No offense to the game developers but... I probably wont look at Salem until HnH is fixed and maintained... Ditching a good game like this just to make another exactly like it, just 3D, looks kinda bad... Salem might end up with this kind of lag too. I wonder why Paradox wanted Salem? Slap a Paradox logo on the Haven and Hearth website and client and it should be good.

Haven is their baby and they've said in the past that under no circumstances will it ever be sold, invested in by outside parties nor charged for. It's their hobby, we just happen to benefit from their hobby. A very rich Russian apparently offered to buy top of the line new servers for the game but Jorb and Loftar passed, or so I've heard.

All that aside, i would happily throw in a $20 spot for someone to fix the frikken lag.
