It's ok if you're not that great of a player. The thing that makes these succession games fun is the crazy shit that goes down. Get a little practice and join us :)

Thanks for bringing this up. I'm currently using version .34.07 with the mayday tileset and Lazy Newb Pack Advanced v12. Hopefully that won't happen here, but if it does we'll just revert to an older save.

Yes, I believe I embarked near a goblin fort. There seems to be about every type of ore, except iron ores (I cheated).

the problem is most people are probably up to the latest version including myself, .34.11

Are we following in the boatmurdered tradition of naming a dwarf after a previous leader each reign? I've been playing a fort of my own and naming the dwarves the names of H&H players.
