My advice to you. If you plan on spending any decent amount of time in this game, keep in mind having one will increase the odds of your settlement not being completely and utterly demolished.

It pretty much depends on where you live on the map, When i first started playing this world (2-3 months ago) i was in a area where most people were inactive, Then i went up north a bit and saw people daily. Where i live now i see a ton of people daily, So it all depends. I guess its better to be in a inactive area then an area with hostiles.

Oh yea i heard the map huge, and dam lol sounds like many hostiles ill try and be carefull, i think ima try to stay secluded for a little while, while i build my character up then try to find friendly's in the game. Heard there's villages to so ima look into that.

Welcome to the game. I'm kinda new myself and was lucky to spawn near some friendly players. After working together for a while, we decided to make a village together. We have had some tough times, but it's a bit easier to survive when there are a couple of friends to survive with.

Yea i tride getting my friend to join but he couldnt take the lag lol, and that Dis thing is that a person saw a runestone with that

Dis is a village. I haven't actually communicated with anyone from Dis, but I have seen many threads about them on the forums.

I was wondering whats the likely hood someone would trespass and steal my things? I've had 1 person try to kill me, and hes camping out around my area had to run twice to avoid death he KO'd me but i loged out in time =(
