It will be difficult without a village idol. If you can make friends with villages in your region then you'd have a lot of options -- perhaps even a trading partner.

Didn't someone set up the apples for oranges trade center? Forget the name of who did, but if hes close enough he could use that. Now i never used that trade center so idk if its pillaged or active at all so i may be just yapping away for nothing.

I would go with fishing.

Different lure and bait give chances of different types of fish, that give different FEPs. http://ringofbrodgar.com/wiki/Fishing

No need of trading, travelling, asuming risks, loosing valuable time. Rivers and lakes are everywhere.

Safe if done with an alt, if it is killed u loose only some few LP invested in the skill and the fishing pole, well maybe a boat.
