It's been shit. No trips, and I had to take some classes recently to help pay for some textbooks. At least I get to no-life this shitty game until school starts again.

For any action, it's been bland for sure. This summer so far has been a time for a lot of self reflection as a lot of my life is being shifted around learning new things about myself and coming to terms with my perception of the world (I've recently found out I'm bipolar, which gives a great bittersweet feeling to it). No vacations, no nothing, just passing time in my own head trying to spend even more time reflecting on everything and come to better understandings. You know, the typical stuff teenagers do

I went fishing with my dad as wel but that's about it for my activities involving nature. I'm envious you have a clean river, from what I know those sweetwater shrimps (or crayfish, whatever people call them) indicate if the water is clean, if they're around it's possible you won't get every possible illness from taking a sip of un-boiled water.
Other than that it's been mostly training + some hobby stuff, such as making these tobacco-smoking devices.

A small nargilla (tested with the nargilla flavors, smoke quantity wise it's comparable to comercial ones)

In England we haven't had much of a summer, mostly rain rather than sunshine, though the last couple of days it seems to have picked up. As i've had to work all summer anyway it hasn't really affected me other than the main topic of conversation with everyone you meet is about how awful the british weather is!
However, at the end of the summer i get to visit Toronto and Niagra Falls with some canadian guy i know. :D

Counting the days <3

That's why most of my visits are to the river during the summer, we try to beat the heat. I usually go on hikes/camping during the cooler months.
I've lived in Charlotte NC where mowing your lawn in December is normal :( IDC for the hot weather of the southern states

lil kids are a lot of fun. I use to help out at my local Head Start, I had a lot of fun playing with the kids there. 3-4 years later they still remember me

People usually call them crayfish, in my area we call them crawdads. I don't hunt crawdads to sell because most people will only buy "softshell crawdads". Finding softshells isn't easy, they don't shed their shells very often. I catch hellgrammites to fish with and sell for bait.

Yup, we have a very very clean river. Two counties away (45 minute drive) they have the worst water, because of coal mining, coal sludge pool accidents, and poorly ran companies with little regard for the environment. If you have seen the show "Coal" on Spike tv then you know the area I'm talking about ;) My wife's father was born just a few miles away from where they're mining in the show.

I've never seen or heard of them before, interesting - you learn something new everyday, as they say. My brother is mad on fishing, he recently went to florida shark fishing and the Ascention Isles for yellowfin tuna, sent some amazing photo's of the tuna, they are huge! :)

I got divorced and started banging a 20 year old. I also won $5,000 on a scratch off lotto ticket. I'd call this summer a push.
