Loftar doesn't care about any of us when it comes to Haven
He's so evil. :(

He's also a miser when it comes to rewarding capes for bugs.

(19:38:56) <ewlol> can't you trust your player's feedback?
(19:39:06) <loftar> Do you know how much time is required to actually read and filter all that feedback, ewlol? :)
(19:39:20) <loftar> Far more than is required to implement the features, at least. :)
(19:39:21) <ewlol> if this is just your personal project and you want to live in a bubble where you don't listen to your playerbase why do you even have a playerbase
(19:39:35) <loftar> Well, tbt, for Haven, we don't care much about the playerbase.
(19:39:36) <Zou> ewlol: just quit
(19:39:42) <loftar> I don't believe in "democratic" game development.
(19:39:51) <Tonky> he he
(19:39:55) <loftar> That just makes it bland, visionless and just a "checklist" of features.

 Bad guy

If you're looking for a more 'democratic' game that is similar to HnH, there is a certain game that contains 6 letters and begins with an 'O' and ends with an 'N.' I also heard that it's well-funded and has a lot less lag. ;)

Haha, out-of-context quoting FTW. :)

I'm not sure I have any honor that needs redeeming, but I would nonetheless like to add to the record that that comment was made in the context of the "development model" of Haven, and was meant to say that Haven was never very much developed in order to gain a playerbase, and that Jorb and I don't care much about suggestions for potential implementation; but rather develop the game because it's a game we want to make and follow our own vision in doing so; and then, if the result is something people want to play, then that's something we do find fun and rewarding.

Obviously, if we didn't care about players at all, we wouldn't be renting a server for it or even running it publicly to begin with. :)

Are you actually talking about Origin? Is it funded? Am I misunderstanding something or getting trolled without noticing it?

I denounce that accusation utterly! It is falsehood and lies! Clearly, the most satisfying thing there ever was, was adding swimming and watching half the population drown within the first few days. I still nourish myself on all the tears that were shed back then.

because people got wise to it and were like NEVER BUY SWIMMING EVER and so nobody died from it much anymore so they made it Slightly More Reasonable to lull people into a false sense of security (and kill them (in the name of the Dark Lord))

edit: so what's this origin thing all i can find is a bunch of bullshit
