They are paying for professionally hosted servers every month so the playerbase can keep playing despite the devs having no time at all to control or work on the game. In my book that is a pretty noble thing to do and all of you who complain that they are allowed to play a free game should seriously shove it.

I am the first when it comes to criticizing what's wrong with the game and that is a lot. Nontheless I would never demand anything from Jorb and Loftar. If what happens right now is not what I expect from a game, then guess what? I take my hat and leave. To think that those two owe you anything is ridiculous.

I think everyone knows that we can't pressure Jorb or Loftar for anything. But we all are desperately trying to catch there attention for what direction this game is going. Prior to the upgrade that we got 2 months back there was some lag and most hardcore fans just ignored it, but after the upgrade 6.0 or something everything went to hell. Now the lag is enough to make people leave the game because of the lag alone. There are other game mechanics that really break the game to that needs there attention to that is being ignored but the main issue is the lag.

What differs us fans from random gamers that come and go is the fact that we stick by the lag and wish the devs would fix the issues and endure throwout the lag. I don't think this game would have had this great of a community if there wasn't a few hardcore fans in it and I dare to say that anyone still around that is still here is a die hard fan. Just throwing in the towel and leaving for another game is just the same as giving up on this game altogether if we all did it. So why not just shut down the server and go play Salem and quickly leave Salem for another game as soon as a few bugs pup up. If we all had that easy come easy go mentality there would be no mmos around.

This is the equivalent of H&H, in a car context:

As a hobby, two guys develop a new car. It's AMAZING. Fuel efficient, fast, sleek, revolutionary. You can't wait for it to be released, you want to buy it. But then, 95% through the development process, the two guys stop developing it, and go and start working on a different car.

You can see that car. You can see it's 95% finished. You took it for a test drive, and it was brilliant, apart from a few obvious and easily fixed faults. All it needs it for someone to put the wheels on it. You would gladly pay big money for the car. But, after all the creativity and hard-work, it is neglected at the last hurdle. Such a shame.

I'm going to agree with Burg.

It's thier game, we don't have to pay a dime for it. I knw most of us would gladly pay a subscription fee IF a lot of the bugs(lag/exploits/hacks etc) were fixed and what not. but atm, that's not the case. I too feel that Salem if/when it hits retail will possibly be the Death of H&H(both games from what i read are very similiar)

but in the end, it's thier game, and they are paying for the game to be online and the stuff that comes with that. As much as I hate it, we really don't have any say in H&H. Hell even if you donated, you don't have any say.

Some people don't understand this simple concept: Owning something has nothing to do with what you "should" do with something.

I have $100. Some people say I "should" spend it on food. Some people say I "should" spend it on clothes. Some people say I "should" save it in the bank. The decision is ultimately mine.

Jorbtar have an awesome game. Some people (me, for one) say they should give it to someone who cares about it, and stop neglecting it, because it's a shame for such a brilliant game to go to waste. The decision is ultimately theirs.
