I forgot about Star Ocean and BoF. Star Ocean 2 was my favorite SO, I'm not sure which 3d Star Ocean I've played... Probably both. My wife claims that we have played both of them, but I can't remember. I rented so many RPGs from Gamefly it's hard to tell. I never got to play much of BoF series, my wife loves them.
I use to speak to a guy who made games that always talked about Tyrian 2000, I don't remember his IRC nickname tho. He made a few indie shmups, nothing that I was impressed with (IDC for shmups) but other people seemed to like them. I'll edit this later with his games.
I don't sell my old games anymore, especially my old rpgs. I sold a bunch of my old games to Game Stop and regretted it. I finally got back most of the games that I had sold. Vagrant Story was my biggest regret, right after I sold it I wanted to play it again, lol. When my best friend moved to Tokyo he gave me his collection of games, over 200 hundred games.

I haven't got around to playing Terranigma or Illusion of Gaia. I have no idea why I never tried Illusion of Gaia, I always thought it looked like a great game from reading Nintendo Power. I forgot about Chrono Trigger and Chrono Cross. I beat Chrono Trigger last year for the millionth time. I know I played Bahamut Lagoon, I don't remember much about it. Suikoden 2 was fun, I didn't get very far in the game, but I liked it.
I avoided MMOs also in fear of becoming too addicted. For several years I haven't been playing retail games as much as I use to. I've been playing and working on indie games. I've tried tons of games from kids that make Super Mario/Sonic clones to games that could be considered almost professional.
I use to offer my help to beginner game makers, until I realized most are lazy arrogant shitheads that want you to do everything for them. I also use to do art request for beginners but after you hear "I quit working on that project..." you kinda want to smash their head in.

Then i found a game called Dark Crystal which led me on to the Final Fantasy series, which along with the G.T.A's were my main (fav) games untill i was introduced to HnH.
The only other mmo i play is Salem but a friend wants me to play that space EVE one, it looks quite cool so i'm prob gonna start it once i get this bike race out of the way.
If i do ever put the ps3 on i'm playing Red Dead and Final Fantasy 13.
Edit: I forgot Lara

You mentioned Final Fantasy 13

I played FF13 for 1 day, the characters were so annoying

I wanted to kill them. Great grafx the game just didn't do anything for me. I love Sim games also, Sim City, Sim Ant, Sim Earth, etc... Have you and Borka played Theme Hospital? A great hospital sim. A young man from the Netherlands got me hooked on that game a few years ago. I have it on my psp

Played all the good Atari games Atlantis, Cosmic Ark, River Raid, Pitfall, The Swordquest series. Indiana Jones... My first rpg was on the Tandy Color computer 3 Dungeons of Daggorath, pretty cool little dungeon dive. The video game collapse happened and i spent the early 80's doing other shit then Nintendo came out and I got a little game called Legend of Zelda that effectively changed my life. Played pretty much "literally" every CRPG that came out for Nintendo, Super Nintendo, Genesis, etc etc etc. up to Playstation 1 when I stopped consoles and moved onto computers. Discovered and played X-Com Enemy Unknown on a friends laptop and that and Master of Magic solidified my love of turned base strategy... Baldurs Gate 1 and 2 (Throne of Bhall arguably being 3) Planescape: Torment (love) Ultima Online from 97 to 01 when it went to shit, Anarchy Online, Everquest, Dark Ages of Camalot if it was an MMog I betaed it more than likely and somewhere about 2ish years ago I discovered haven and here we are.

I liked Atari, but I never got immersed in it. Pitfall was hard, nothing nearly as hard as the NES version (glitchy pile of shit). There was a 3d xbox version that actually wasn't that bad. Yar's Revenge was great, I don't usually like shmups. You stopped console gaming

the ps2 had/has tons of great RPGs. I've just about stopped console gaming, disgusted by all of the FPS madness. Don't get me wrong, I love FPS but there's just too many of them. Tired of people asking me if I'm going to buy this FPS (usually CoD which I hate) or this one. I usually think of a game they would probably hate (Harvest Moon, Animal Crossing, Little Big Planet) and say "I'm waiting for Little Big Planet 3 to come out"

I still keep up with my favorite game developers tho. I'm always on the lookout for new games for 360/ps3/wii that I might like.

I played some of those, XCOM & Fallout Tactics look great. Honestly, I don't have a problem with game prices today. They have remained fairly cheap for over 20 years. When I was a kid I was angry that Nintendo increased the price of their games to $70-$90 for awhile. I remember paying over $90 for Street Fighter 2 Turbo in 1994 or 1995, ffs.
Today, $10 increase doesn't seem like much in 20+ years. Most of the games I buy are used or are around $20-$30, I only pay $60 for games that I've been really looking forward to. Such As Zelda, Metal Gear Soild, Halo, Gears of War, Little Big Planet, etc... Last Zelda game I bought was Zelda Twilight Princess (as soon as it came out of the GC), MGS 4 used for $40, still haven't bought Halo Reach Around (I really want to buy it but i need to also buy xbox live gold), same reason I haven't bought GoW3, and Little Big Planet 2 was my last big purchase at $60.
