We are aware of this pretty well. We've been having voting stuff around the builders. There were several options. We decided not to put any statues on the west side (there is a river flowing in 20-40 tiles away from our walls, so it wouldn't be not that gay in terms of abusing the game mechanics, but would still protect the main city from bugrams.

Here are the ones suggested by our machinery master Cdev/Pickard:

1. Along the existing bw like faggots - 2 statues for 3 tiles - 1800-2000 steel
2. Along the existing bwall like a pro - 2 statues for 2 tiles - 2400-2600 steel
3. Along a new bwall (40 tiles from the existing one) like faggots - 2 statues for 3 tiles - 2000-2500 steel + 15000 brick.
4. Along a new bwall (40 tiles from the existing one) like a pro 2 for 2 tiles - 2500-2700 steel + 15000 bricks.
5. Purely statue (40 tiles away from the existing bwall) - 4 statues to 3 tiles - 3400-3600 steel.

This project is certainly more interesting than anything anyone else has done recently.

Just because it's done by people you don't like doesn't make it any less impressive.
